I just found out that the origin of the quote, “Hate the sin, love the sinner,” came from Gandhi. Makes you wonder how much of cliche Christianity is counter-scriptural, doesn’t it?

I just found out that Francis of Assisi NEVER Said, “Preach the Gospel at All Times; When Necessary, Use Words.” That kind of shocked me, since it is one of the most quoted statements in evangelicalism these days.
